I went to Dungeness this morning with Bob Bland.We saw 55 species,the best being _G W Egrets 14 Glossy Ibis 2 Cattle Egrets 5 Little Egrets 4 Marsh Harrier 3 (Long tailed duck 1 and Little stints 2 ARC).

October 21st (BITS AND PIECES)
On the way back from Rye.Jeanette and I called into Dungeness (21st).
We saw 3 Cattle Egrets,12 Great Egrets,3 Spoonbills (one with a Dutch ring),1 Caspian Gull and 2 Pintail.
(Photos Chiffchaff,Jay and Teal at New Hythe).A Hobby was hawking over the East scrub there on the 20th and over the past week several Stonechats have been seen.Along with the first Redwings and thrush movements.

Night Heron at New Hythe July 21st-August 3rd 2020.
It or another was seen again for about a week.From the end of July into August 2021.
