I was back at Cliffe pools this morning, along with Bob Bland. We drove into the reserve via the bumpy track (which is accessed through Cliffe village). Our first stop was along side the iron gates, which are on your left, just before you reach the barn.looking over the gate, one of the first birds we saw was the Marsh Sandpiper.Although it was a some distance,it looked fine through our scopes.
