January 17th (Elmley)

 At about mid day,five S E Owls appeared opposite the car park.

 

January 13th and 15th (New Hythe)

 No frost this morning,still cold though.

Mill stream - Chiffchaffs  Goldcrest and Firecrests.

Another interesting Chiff a greyer bird this time.

Streamside lake during the heavy frosts.

  

January 10th (Garden)

A male Blackcap that has been present in the garden for the past three weeks,was ringed on the 8th and the photos taken today.

 There was a count of thirty seven Shoveler in the New Hythe/Leybourne lakes area on the 8th.  

January 4th (New Hythe)

 A B N GREBE was found on the Diver`s lake (photographed at dusk) another good bird to start the New Year with. 

Good numbers of Chiffs remain along the Mill stream,along with sightings of at least two Cetti`s Warblers and two Treecreepers.

The Blackcap was photographed in my garden.Where it has been seen on and off for the past two weeks.
