June 23rd (Knepp Rewilding)



















I only walked the white route but must have seen at least ten White Storks nests,all with young.Two Red Kites,one Turtle Dove and croaking Nightingales were also noted.This year I was told 47 young white Storks have been reared.

A  male Cuckoo has been seen in the vicinity of the Conservation lake all summer and was heard and seen again this morning 16th.Also seen this morning were a pair of Teal along the river (unusual sighting for June,although they have been known to breed in the past along with several ad Med Gulls.
