Egyptian Geese and Common Sandpiper (Burrowes Pit)

Tree Sparrow

I spent the morning at Dungeness,with friends.We made our way to Dungeness via Romney Marsh,where we saw - singles of Turtle Dove,Yellowhammer and Hobby.At the farm we picked up  the ever present Tree Sparrows.

Our first stop on reaching Dungeness was at the A R C Pits,where we saw - L R Plover 6,Dunlin 2 and singles of Little Egret,G W Egret,Common Sandpiper and Cuckoo,although we looked hard and long,we failed to locate a Curlew Sandpiper which was present yesterday.

On the R S P B.Reserve,we made I way round to Dengemarsh and from the hide saw -  Ruff 2,Common Sandpiper 1,Redshank 2 and Wood Sandpiper 1.

Before we left the area,we looked in on a well known stake out for Little Owls at Lydd.
