November 3rd (New Hythe)

Bucket wood (river low)  2 Redshank  2 ad G B B Gulls  30 Teal 15 Mallard  10 Lapwing 1 Great crested Grebe 30 Herring Gulls 25 B h Gulls  1 King fisher.

A Black Redstart was found by Glenn whilst walking his dog (lake walk).Later he saw 4 Wigeon flying over Brookland.

2nd  3 Red kites and 1 Marsh Harrier seen (again seen by Glenn)

1st  2 Raven seen high over Bucket wood.

CATCH UP (New Hythe)

September 13th  Garganey  2 Wigeon 2 Gadwall (Abbey Mead + 20  Teal along the river.23rd G W Egret on the river + a Nuthatch in the Oaks at Abbey Meads (very scarce).29th 2 Wigeon on Abbey Meads + 100 House Martin in the area.

October 15th 50 Teal and 6 Gadwall along the river.20th 5 Pochard on Alders (Leybourne).21st Green Sandpiper 4 Gadwall along the river + 1 Lesser Redpoll nearby.23rd 2 Ring Ouzel seen in a garden at Snodland.with 10 Blackbirds (morning foggy with rain).27th  Red Kite + a Peregrine seen at New Hythe. 

A pale plumaged Tufted Duck with a pink bill has been seen in the area (now on Brookland) since September.
