river,halfway to low-tide,birds seen - Dunnocks,abundant (in small groups),Meadow Pipits 4,Reed Bunting 3,Swallow 4,Heron 1,several G B b Gulls,L B b Gulls,B h Gulls and Common Gulls,Common Partridge 7,Cormorant 1,Snipe 1,Mistle Thrush 2 (west) Fieldfare 1 (west) and Tree Sparrow 30 (west).
During these early years it was quite common to record Tree Sparrows passing over the area,west/northwest during the autumn.
