November 29th/30th and December 3rd/5th (New Hythe)

 Nice male Scaup,first seen on the 25th.

The last time a Scaup was seen at New Hythe,was three years ago.A female remained  in the area from November 2017 into March 2018.This is the first adult male to be seen,as far as I know since 1998.

On December 3rd,I found a nice male Goldeneye on Brookland lake.The lake now holds cerca 150 Tufted Duck,one Scaup and one Goldeneye.

    Hi Alan. Sorry I haven't been looking at any blogs for quite a while. You got some pictures of some cracking birds. There is always something that turn up down there..
