Hi,my name is Alan Woodcock.I have been bird-watching in the area for nearly fifty years and (bird ringing)since 1980.I hope to keep up to date sightings of wildlife I have seen (mainly birds)with occasional diary entries of past times.
Hi Alan. May well have been the same bittern that I saw at about 10.30 on the northern edge of Abbey Mead (see blog), although your pics are a bit better than mine!!
ReplyDeleteHi Phil,yes must have been the same bird,3 Sandwich Terns at Dungeness on 1st,so things are moving at long last.
