October 7th (Scotney pit and Dungeness)

Not one,not two,but three BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPERS.Just how do they locate each other.Unless of course there was always three in the area and they have only just come together.

  1. Hi Alan.
What a successful trip it was. All very good birds seen. The B.B.Sandpipers are sometimes easy to spot, although they are often near water, but are more often seen on dry land, they also walk quite fast, did you notice this at all?
Well done with the Bittern, and G.W.Egret.
