Hi,my name is Alan Woodcock.I have been bird-watching in the area for nearly fifty years and (bird ringing)since 1980.I hope to keep up to date sightings of wildlife I have seen (mainly birds)with occasional diary entries of past times.
Hi Phil,I was down there from 9.am,saw the bird around 10.am but then I think shortly after it must have flown off again.Keep trying,if this snow arrives we could be in for more goodies.
Hi Alan. Well done with the redhead Goosander and the Slav. I will have to pop down again to try to see the Goosander, as you say who knows what will turn up. Nice photo's.
I spent ages round Brooklands today Alan, I found the Slav but didn't see the Goosander, this was at about midday or just before.
