More heavy snow fell during the night which continued for most of the morning,luckily it was nice and calm and there was no big freeze.

I walked down to the lakes during the early afternoon and found (14) WIGEON on Brookland lake.

So far during this cold spell I`ve seen no cold weather movements which is rather surprising.The only birds which so far seem to be out of place are Snipe,one or two of which I have flushed from unusual places.I even had a new window tick this morning when I saw one flying down our road.

The Slavonian Grebe was seen again and I couldn`t resist taking some more pics.
