Hi,my name is Alan Woodcock.I have been bird-watching in the area for nearly fifty years and (bird ringing)since 1980.I hope to keep up to date sightings of wildlife I have seen (mainly birds)with occasional diary entries of past times.
Lovely photos Alan, well done finding the Rough Leg, excellent.
ReplyDeleteHi,yes,a good all round morning.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics mate. I like Oare Marsh(although ive been less than 6 times!) its a good day out there. But that wind is something else!!! I went there with my son last year, and the wind ripped through us, looking out over the river, that wind made ours eyes stream with tears.
ReplyDeleteHi Alan.
ReplyDeleteThat was a very rewarding day. I was going there yesterday, but as it was Sunday I thought it would be busy so I went to the island.
Terrific photo's of the G/W/Egret. I am going to try and get there this week, weather permitting.
Your other shots are great difficult to pick a good one, they are all wonderful, although it is always nice to get one of the ellusive Snipe.
Hi Ken,well worth a visit, hope the weather holds for you.
