I had a quick walk around New Hythe this afternoon.Apart from (80+),Gadwall on Abbey Mead and a fllyover Sparrowhawk,I saw very little of note.I did however see an interesting duck with a group of Tufted Duck at the northern end of the Streamside lake.
At first it looked quite good for a female Scaup, but then I noticed that its eyes appeared to be red and the wing bar dull white.Could it be a Common Pochard X Tufted Duck female  hybrid or Pochard X Scaup, female hybrid,or is it just me being over cautious.Any thoughts, would be welcome.
