Black necked Grebe (two were still present on the new diggings)
Early frost soon cleared,clear skies and warm later.
The sea which was like a mill pond produced of note between 0900-0930.Just 19 Brents and 1 B T Diver flying east,no terns were seen,Neither was the hoped for Wheatear or Black Redstart on the walk back to the car.I did however hear my first singing Chiff of the spring whilst walking the willow trail at the ARC pit.Lunch on the viewing mound at Denge marsh with Bob Bland,the three Trevor's and Jeoff.Produced Bearded Tits,Cetti`s Warblers and 3 Marsh Harries,but not yesterdays reported Garganey.
