I looked in on Halling marshes this morning.The flooded fields which border Marsh road have been particularly good this winter,especially for seeing wildfowl and Snipe.

Birds seen - Grey-lag Goose 63,Canada Goose 6,Mallard 43,Gadwall 32,Teal 38,Wigeon 1,Little Egret 1,Moorhen 15,Little Egret 1,Snipe 9,Pied Wagtail 1,Grey Wagtail 1,Meadow Pipit 6 and Stoechat 1.
