Finally on this,the fifth day of cold easterlies with snow,two good species turn up.
This morning,I bumped into Glenn Honey again.He had a grin on his face from ear to ear.Moments earlier he had seen and photographed five Great White Egrets on the Streamside lake,Unfortunately for me though,while he was taken the photos from the path.They flew off,heading in a northerly direction.As for the second good species,we saw that only five minutes later,a Red -necked Grebe.
We saw the Little Egret,which looked in poor condition whilst looking at the Grebe.Many Redwings were scraping around under the trees.
