Nice clear day, chilly
The Scaup is still present on the Streamside lake,along with the Goosander on Abbey Meads.
My 2022 New Hythe bird total has now reached (53),Green Woodpecker (2) Redwing (1) Lesser Redpoll (1) Siskin (4) Little Grebe and Snipe (3) were added this morning,I still have not seen House Sparrow,but they can be tricky to find at New Hythe.

The robin reminds me of an experience I had many years ago. I was parked in Hyde park in London eating a sandwich when a robin landed on my open window and sat there and ate out of my hand and I hadn't got a camera with me. I now never go out of the house without a camera.

Love the video of the Scaup with the Tufty. Really helpful for anyone just started birding, or not been in it very long. Always a beautiful bird to see for no matter how experienced one is.
